A Personal Introduction
We begin with a simple conversation about your yacht or asset, what matters to you today and what you would genuinely enjoy next. From there, we consider the possibilities that could truly suit you.

The Private Asset Exchange methodology does not replace the professional sale-and-purchase process. It creates another route into it—connecting owners whose assets, timing and ambitions may work together.
Five Clear Stages
Each opportunity is different. The structure remains clear.
We begin with a simple conversation about your yacht or asset, what matters to you today and what you would genuinely enjoy next. From there, we consider the possibilities that could truly suit you.
We review the yacht, ownership information, location, flag, VAT and customs position, maintenance and service history, registry or class records, and the principal technical documentation available.
A realistic market position is more than a comparable price. We combine market data, condition, maintenance, design, materials and technical capability with an understanding of what different owners value. Speed, comfort, range, simplicity and rarity matter differently to different people—and demand moves with those priorities. This helps us recognise where an asset may hold stronger value for the right owner.
We look for compatible assets, owners, timing and expectations. A proposal may involve yacht for yacht or a selected alternative asset. If both owners want to proceed but the agreed values differ, additional assets and a cash balancing payment of up to 30% of the agreed value of the yacht being acquired may be considered.
Once both parties wish to proceed, the process follows the familiar professional route used in a conventional yacht sale: agreed terms, contracts, surveys, title checks and professional advice. The difference is that an asset forms part of the consideration. Ownership transfers and any balancing payment are then completed through the appropriate lawyers, escrow, banks, registries and regulated professionals.
The private asset exchange idea grew from a lifestyle around the sea—from childhood aboard sailing and motor yachts, through nautical studies, sailing and racing, and professional work across the maritime and yacht industry.
That practical understanding is combined with current technology, digital market resources, comparable-asset analysis and an international network. The objective is not to manufacture a price. It is to understand the yacht, its maintenance and service position, its documentation and its real place in today’s market.
Professional Structure
Every exchange is subject to contract and independent verification. Ownership, condition, valuation, tax, VAT, customs and regulatory matters must be confirmed for the assets and jurisdictions involved. Value Passage connects and coordinates; it does not replace legal, tax, survey, registry, banking or technical advice.
